Applications to work with Pleasance during the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe are now open.
Pleasance runs its festival operations with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers. Positions range from venue crew to box office staff, from street team to reception, and many people return year-on-year to help make Pleasance the real heart of the Edinburgh Fringe.
Volunteers receive accommodation and a living subsistence, and Pleasance Pass (which allows you to see shows for free, subject to availability).

Young Pleasance (YP) is Pleasance's youth theatre programme, which has gone from strength to strength over the last 15 years. Young Pleasance thrilled audiences again in 2010 with their full-scale musical production Soho Storeys in the Pleasance Grand. Find out more about Young Pleasance
Last year we had 21 theatre spaces at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. They come in all shapes and sizes ranging in capacity from 50 to 750 seats so there should be somewhere to suit almost any show.
We provide all of our spaces with a general lighting rig and PA system, although the exact technical specifications vary from space to space.
