Seven out of the ten nominees across the Main and Newcomer prizes are performing at the Pleasance! The winners were announced at midnight on Saturday 26th August and Mark Watson wins the first ever Panel Prize!

Writers' Guild Awards
The Pleasance is extremely proud to announce that we have 3 acts up for The Writers' Guild List Festival Awards 2006. The Unsinkable Clerk (Network of Stuff), The Receptionists (Trippplicated) and Mark Watson's I'm Worried That I'm Starting to Hate Almost Everyone in the World are all nominees.
Fringe First for Tom Thumb
The Adventures of Tom Thumb were one of the first festival acts to win a prestigious Scotsman Fringe First Award yesterday. Picking up their shiny black plaque award at a ceremony hosted by Arts Editor Andrew Eaton.
