Three women are locked away in the 1940's for their illicit loves. For decades they relive their faltering memories amidst the drugs and brutality of the asylum. Lucinda finds the last yak, but first encounters an unintelligible, hurt feral child. Yaks can only survive above 3500 metres but the mountains are dying: worlds collide and the rain keeps falling.
