Budd Schulberg with Stan Silverman
Steven Berkoff directs an ensemble of 12 with his trademark style of bold
physical theatre. This classic story set in 1950s New York follows the
search for freedom from the mob by Terry Malloy, the guy who coulda been a
contender.
Adapted from the multi-Oscar winning film starring Marlon Brando.

after touring the world since 2003, it makes its UK debut at the
Edinburgh Fringe. Devised by Tel Aviv-based dancer Ilan Azriel who let
his imagination run riot on the theme of aluminium in all its various
industrial forms, a skilful cast of athletic dancers create a joyous
fantasy of movement, physical theatre, puppetry and special effects.
