Momma Cherri's restaurant shot to fame when it was featured in 2005 on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The star was undoubtedly Momma Cherri herself, Charita Jones. Since coming up with the magic of 'Soul in a Bowl' the restaurant has been almost permanently full with pilgrims searching out this elixir, which is just great home cooking, just like your mother and grandmother before her used to do.

Throughout the Festival you can find Momma's Soul Food Shack in the Pleasance Dome. After midnight we'll have live jazz and soul music, free for all to enjoy.
