Script Policy
The Pleasance has always been committed to providing a platform to the talent of the future, and we are always interested in reading new plays.
As we are an unfunded charity, we are only occasionally able to produce and the likelihood of a script submission being taken to full production is slim.
However, there are things we can do! Our studio theatre, the StageSpace, is often available during the daytimes for readings and script in hand performances and provides an excellent opportunity to try something out in front of an audience. If things go well it is also a flexible and affordable space and dozens of new plays have been premiered in it since it opened in October 2002.
