YP has earned National and International recognition for its large-scale ensemble productions of original work and innovative adaptations tailored to the strengths of individuals in the company.

YP is dedicated to offering dynamic, excellent and inclusive opportunities for young people in the local community, throughout London and, more recently, Nationally, to participate in and experience theatre of the highest professional standards through workshops, projects and large-scale productions.

YP is based at Pleasance London and the company performs regularly in London and its other home in Edinburgh.

The YP artistic team is a formidable collaboration of award-winning theatre practitioners, choreographers, composers and designers, who share the aim of introducing and developing performance and technical skills in young people to a very high standard nurturing creative and artistic expression.

YP gives young people the opportunity to rehearse, learn, devise, share skills, and perform as part of a focused and motivated ensemble, recognising that drama is an essential part of learning and growth for young people on an emotional, social, educational and intellectual level.
