The action of the play takes place between 1574 and 1605 and follows the fortunes and misfortunes of the celebrated actors and writers of the Admiral’s Men as they audaciously challenge convention on and off-stage. Innovators, insurgents and mischief-makers people the narratives of Mike Punter’s witty and incisive new play specially commissioned by Dulwich College.

YP is collaborating with Dulwich College to produce this play at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008, and there are plans to tour subsequently to China, and next year to the Shakespeare Festival in Massachusetts.
Edinburgh is the ultimate environment in which young actors can perform with its emphasis on originality, energy and new talent. We we aim to ensure that this production is well worth the level of scrutiny that this international forum affords.
We have cast an exceptional company of young actors proving once again that YP will showcase a "…young talented cast who all deliver..." (The Scotsman)
