The Pleasance Theatre Trust aims to recruit a highly motivated Associate Producer who will continue to take strides in providing hundreds of talented individuals with the support they need to develop as world class theatre makers.

The Associate Producer will take administrative control of the organisation’s various artistic initiatives under the ‘Pleasance Futures’ umbrella, including the Charlie Hartill Theatre Reserve, Young Pleasance (Edinburgh & London), XYP, Scratch Nights and Associate Programme. 

As well as maintaining existing initiatives, the Associate Producer will play a key role in developing new areas of support, working closely with the Head of Theatre and Director.

The Associate Producer plays an important role in the daily management of the Pleasance’s three performance spaces in London, ensuring that incoming companies arrive fully informed and supported as a result of first class communication ahead of their runs. They also manage financial settlements following the final performance and feed into internal programming analysis. 

The Associate Producer will be a person who is passionate about contemporary theatre and ideally have a background in theatre producing and artist development. This expansive role will require a person with a huge amount of enthusiasm, energy and acumen.

The role commences in Pleasance London no later than September 2018, however opportunities may be explored for the successful candidate to join the Pleasance in Edinburgh during the Festival Fringe in August if availability allows.
