The Pleasance Theatre Trust looks to recruit a diligent and driven Box Office Deputy Manager to play a key role in the delivery of the venue’s vitally important ticketing facility.
This position is a part-time job share working 2 days a week until the week commencing 8th July, when it will move full time until 13th September 2019. This includes a period of work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 22nd July – 30th August.
Reporting to and deputising for the Box Office Manager, the Deputy is responsible for ensuring that the theatre’s physical and digital ticketing operations run smoothly at all times. They are also responsible for a variety of important administrative tasks involving companies, databases and general housekeeping to ensure that certain areas beyond on the Box Office run smoothly.
At the Pleasance’s Edinburgh sites, the Deputy will help to manage a 40 person Box Office team, providing both operational and pastoral support to the team as we welcome over 550,000 ticket holders to the venue.
The ideal candidate will be a personable, pro-active team player with meticulous attention to detail and a keen interest in all things Theatre and Comedy.
