The Pleasance Theatre Trust seeks to recruit a Front of House & Bar Manager to deliver a key aspect of the guest services operation at the Pleasance’s London theatre.

Working alongside the Box Office and Technical departments under the direction of the General Manager, the Front of House & Bar Manager is responsible for ensuring the best possible experience is given to audiences attending the theatre.

They motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service, maintain the premises and ensure the timely running of the daily programme, which often operates simultaneously across the theatre’s 3 performance spaces.

Through staff training and implementing routine procedures, they ensure these standards are maintained at all times.

Alongside their shift duties, the Front of House & Bar Manager oversees the administration of the department - creating rotas, preparing bar takings for banking and maintaining stock levels.

The ideal candidate will have proven managerial experience in a Front of House or Bar environment, managing both guests and facilities.

Above all, they will be highly personable and thrive in the company of others - making everyone feel comfortable and welcome whilst at the Pleasance.
