Litmus Fest

Supporting Experimentation

a work-in-progress theatre festival: Six companies present six brand new shows over six days

We are excited to host our 2nd annual RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT festival here at Pleasance Islington, 25 Sept- 1 Oct 2017.

The programme for Litmus Fest 2017 has been selected and tickets for work-in-progress sharings are now on sale.

During the month of August, the Pleasance relocates to Edinburgh to run 27 performance spaces at the Festival Fringe, so often London becomes a maintenance hub. In summer 2016, it became a hive of R&D activity for developing new work and new ways of working. The findings of this development period were then presented on both our Main House and StageSpace stages over one week in September.  Following the success of this, in 2017 we are pleased to once again be presenting Litmus Fest, supporting theatremakers to experiment and offering audiences the opportunity to see a range of new and exciting work!
