Important information:

This show contains adult content and some strong language.

A wild and darkly comic journey down the streets and back alleys of modern Dublin, from award-winning writer, Stewart Roche and ground-breaking young Irish theatre collective.

This thrilling new play brings you to places you shouldn't go but want to – while asking one question: how well do you really know yourself? Inspired by the worlds of Edgar Allen Poe and Chuck Palahniuk.

'A young, energetic and fearless company' (Examiner).

Stewart Roche's first original full length play ‘Revenant’ had its world premiere in the New Theatre in November 2013 and was nominated for the prestigious Stewart Parker Award. Other work includes ‘Tracer’ and ‘Snake Eaters’ both staged at the New Theatre. Most recently his short play ‘Bittern’ was published in the online magazine The Incubator; it was adapted for the screen and is set for release in the summer of 2018 and stars Corps Ensemble members Edwin Mullane, Jed Murray, and Michael Bates.

The Corps Ensemble was founded in 2015 by a small group of actors and theatre practitioners who wanted to push their artistic limits and create a tightly knit, uninhibited and impassioned ensemble to present vital and exhilarating work for the stage. We believe that theatre should be about taking risks, aesthetically and physically, about breaking down the barriers between audience and performer, and above all, communicating ideas and feelings led by great performances, great stories and great playwrights.

Open/closeReviews and Quotations

‘dark and disturbing...Mullane tells the story with animation and pace...a well-written, forensically directed and charismatically performed piece that deserves a wider airing. ’
