Suitable for ages 12 and above

Overview

‘Why don’t we keep foxes as pets?’

A monologue about the unspoken fears and contradictions intrinsic to human nature, Fox is an exploration of motherhood, homelessness, postnatal depression and the class divide. A man turns up to live on the wall outside the home of a new mother, throwing everything into question.

Reading Week connects playwrights and audiences, giving writers the opportunity to hear their scripts brought to life in a rehearsed reading and gain valuable feedback.

Join us at Pleasance Islington for a week-long festival of new plays, with two readings every night - you could be sitting beside the next Sarah Kane or Tom Stoppard! All tickets £5, or £8 for a double-bill.
