The House of Clytemnestra

23rd Mar 2019 - 24th Mar 2019

Main House - Pleasance London

'Making it happen. Making it happen. There. That's where I was. There. Me. Without me, nothing would ever have happened.'

Following Words in Progress, Young Pleasance London's inaugural production, the company now moves from new writing to modern retelling of Greek tragedy.

Celebrating the collision of classic and contemporary, The House of Clytemnestra - inspired by a collection of Greek works by Euripides - tells part of the story of the children of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra: Iphigenia, Electra, Chrysothemis and Orestes.

Young Pleasance is dedicated to offering professional theatre opportunities for young people through workshops, small-scale and large-scale productions delivered by an ambitious creative team.
