Overview

Poster for the one man show I AM MONSTERS!, showing actor Nicholas Vince (a bald man with a beard) before the character Chatterer, a monster with exposed teeth.
Nicholas Vince, Chatterer in Clive Barker's Hellraiser and Kinski (Moon face) in Nightbreed; shares stories from his first encounters with monsters - by torchlight under bedclothes - to the making of the films. He reads excerpts from his favourite horror classics and reveals what it takes to be a monster.

Nicholas wrote the play What Monsters Do which sold out at the Etcetera Theatre. He still acts in horror films and recently starred in the smash hit Book of Monsters (Epic Pictures) and Mycho Pictures most popular film, Hollower. He features in Ashley Thorpe's Borley Rectory (Nucleus Films) and the anthology film For We Are Many (Hex Studios).

Clive Barker said: “Nicholas Vince has played monsters both bizarre and blood-thirsty, and has brought both his life-long passion for horror and his immense skills as an actor to every role. Now, in this extraordinary confessional, we meet the man behind the terrifying masks, as he traces his journey from a troubled youth to a man who now embodies creatures known world-wide, Nick charms and chills us, mingling the witty and the nightmarish, the man who laughs behind the mask. He has such tales to tell.”
