Make The Cut

Director's Cut Theatre Company

29th Sep 2022

Main House Cabaret - Pleasance London

Suitable for ages 15 and above

Make The Cut is the hottest competition for actors and writers seeking an opportunity and a platform to showcase their talents.

Some of the UK’s most talented emerging artists are selected to compete in front of a voting audience and an industry panel. Hoping to make the cut, writers submit their work and the top monologues are shortlisted for the competition. After a first round of auditions, actors are chosen to go head to head, performing the monologues in a series of rounds, in which the winning actor and writer is chosen!

WINNING PRIZES! Supporting rising talent in moving forward with their careers!

Actors: £148 towards Equity membership (Trade Union for professional performers) or a term's free membership to The Actors Club run by Director's Cut Theatre Company.

Writers: Free script development service. Three dramaturgy sessions (full script analysis) on any script or piece of writing of their choice with Artistic Director Heather Ward.

A competition like no other. The question is – who will Make The Cut?
