Brilliant way to get tasters of great shows. Could happily go every day. Only frustration is not enough time to see them all. Thanks Mervyn long may you carry on...

A show which captures the spirit and variety of the Fringe anchored in a very professional style by Edinburgh legend Mervyn. I attend the Fringe every year with a group of friends and we always make this show our first port of call to help us make our selections for the rest of the week. There's something for everyone and you might even spot a star of the future (it seems like only yesterday that we were watching John Bishop and Romesh Ranganathan taking their first steps to stardom on Mervyn's show).

What makes this show special is that it’s not just a few comics and some music, no, of course there are comics but also theatre sections, on the show I attended two exerts of theatre productions and some circus skills to boot as well,a very wide mix.

To summarise, this was an invaluable introduction to the enormous variety at the Fringe, a good way to get a whole lot of acts ticked off your list (or added to the must-see list) and an excellent way to start the day, after you’ve had your wake-up lunch. Just book early for this one, as it is a sell-out show.
Brilliantly presented showcase of the fringe. A must see every year.

I saw Mervyn's show twice and went on to see 2 brilliant shows as a result. Wished I had been in Edinburgh for longer to repeat the experience. I shall be back next year.
