“When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself”

Neck Or Nothing is the story of Jens, a self-taught inventor, who sets out to create one of the most important technological advancements in history- a giant suit to fight bears.

Inspired by the cult documentary ‘Project Grizzly’, Fledgling Theatre's funny, touching and poignant new play explores the complexity of male mental health and is supported by CALM.

Fledgling Theatre Company were founded in 2014, to devise shows as an ensemble and develop new writing. Previous shows include Modern Jesus (2014), Jericho Creek (2015), and They Built It No One Came (2016/17) which was shortlisted for the Pleasance Charlie Hartill Award before a 5 star run at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a UK tour.

Fledgling Theatre will be running a post show Q & A in partnership with the CALMzone on Wednesday 1st May to explore the key themes of the show which include how attitudes towards mental health can be broken down and addressed in men.
