Reading Week: Entropy & Who Do You Think You Are?

8th Jun 2019

StageSpace - Pleasance London

6:45pm, 8:15pm

6:45pm, Entropy by Kate Reid

‘Entropy’ centres around four patients in a kidney dialysis centre. Being connected to the dialysis machines means that, no matter what is said, none of them can leave the room. As the stilted small talk gives way to tense confrontation, the dynamic between the four trapped patients begins to sour.

8:15pm, Who Do You Think You Are? by Liz Tait

Former college friends reconnect at a dance reunion where learning a routine to The Spice Girls triggers a moment of truth and a realisation that sometimes the past is what was, and the only thing that matters is what is. Comedy drama set against a back-drop of 90s music.

Reading Week connects playwrights and audiences, giving writers the opportunity to hear their scripts brought to life in a rehearsed reading and gain valuable feedback from both audiences and an industry panel.

Join us at Pleasance Islington for this festival of new plays powered by Pleasance Futures, with a double bill of bold, exciting and innovative new writing each evening.

£5 for one Reading, £7 for a Double Bill, £24 for all performances.
