She/Split by David Riaz Zaman (Reading Week)

30th May 2018

StageSpace - Pleasance London

8:15pm

Suitable for ages 12 and above

Overview

She / Split, subtitled An Intervention, is a highly charged work of kinetic invective, focusing on an interrogation that embraces notions of Identity and Insurgency, where three mixed race women use and abuse their racial ‘otherness’ as a means of ascertaining who amongst them is a terrorist. It’s about fear, it’s about closure.

Reading Week connects playwrights and audiences, giving writers the opportunity to hear their scripts brought to life in a rehearsed reading and gain valuable feedback.

Join us at Pleasance Islington for a week-long festival of new plays, with two readings every night - you could be sitting beside the next Sarah Kane or Tom Stoppard! All tickets £5, or £8 for a double-bill.
