A company borne of the staggering young talent of Young Pleasance, Incognito Theatre Company first burst onto the Fringe in 2014 with their dazzlingly inventive adaptation of Government Inspector. Following their sell-out, five-star adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Gray in 2015 this “immensely talented ensemble” [Fest] used their striking physical theatre techniques to bring Remarque’s masterpiece, All Quiet On The Western Front, to the stage with vivid intensity. Poetic, expressionistic and infused with unrelenting energy this adaptation told Remarque’s tragic tale of manipulated youth and global bloodshed. They now embark on a new challenge, original writing, and inspired by Peaky Blinders, Brighton Rock, Alice Diamond and real life events the company will bring the greasy and gritty 1920's London underworld to the Edinburgh stage.
