How To Book

How to Book

You can book tickets on our website

Our on-site venue Box Office is currently closed for in-person bookings.

If you need to make an access booking, please email [email protected] so we can organise tickets for you.

We are working on a reduced staff structure - please email us to find out when we're next able to take payments over the phone.

You can ask us a question by emailing [email protected]

If you have any additional requirements you can read more about our access provision or download our Access Guide here. Our Main House venue is lift accessible and step-free.

In line with government guidance we can not accept any group bookings larger than 6. All groups must consist of only one household or support bubble.

Ticket Collection

You will receive an email confirmation which contains a QR code. This is your ticket. You can show this on your phone or printed out.

We are unable to provide printed tickets - if you would like to give tickets as a gift you may forward your email confirmation. We are currently unable to post tickets.

Our Front of House team will scan your QR code before you enter the venue. If you can’t find your QR code, please contact [email protected]

On Arrival

On the day of your show you will receive an email from us letting you know which of our two entrances you will be using.

If you require step-free access via our lift you will need to use the North Road entrance, which is to the right of the courtyard. Please let us know in advance that you require use of our lift by emailing [email protected]

Our Front of House team will be ready to greet you and scan your QR code from one hour before your show. Your group will then be shown to your table. Please note that latecomers may not be admitted.

Our tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. However:

If the show is cancelled for whatever reason we will of course provide a full refund, or if you would prefer, an exchange for an alternative night (this will be subject to availability). We are closely monitoring the government guidance and will communicate any changes to your booking as quickly as possible via email.

If you are feeling unwell or have to self-isolate please do not attend the theatre. Email [email protected] and we will issue a refund on your tickets. Your refund will not include the booking fee.

Why do I pay a booking fee?

The Pleasance Theatre Trust charges a booking fee to cover the rather numerous charges made by credit card companies, banks and payment gateway providers that allow us to sell tickets online using credit cards and debit cards. We regret that we are unable to include this booking fee in the list price of the ticket.

Why do you ask for an additional donation?

The donation is completely optional. The Pleasance is a registered charity, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing a platform for new theatre companies, new artists and new ideas. Any donations are also put back into building rehearsal rooms and upgrading our theatres and existing facilities to enable emerging companies to create work both at Pleasance London and at Pleasance during the Festival Fringe.

Does my child need a ticket?

Any child over the age of 2 will need their own ticket.
