How To Book
Tickets can be booked in the following way:
24 hours, Monday - Sunday

10:00 - 18:00 (Saturday - Sunday)
Please note that for London, on days where there are performances, our lines will be open until 15 minutes after the final show is due to start.

What happens once I place my order?
Once an order is placed you receive a confirmation email with all the details of the booking. This is your reference for the payment.
Where are my tickets?
You may have selected the postal option, if so tickets will be posted out to you shortly. If you selected collection at the box office then, if possible, we highly recommend that you arrive at the theatre at least 60 minutes before the performance to collect your tickets. Please note, latecomers may not be admitted.
What ID do I need to collect the tickets?
Please, if possible, bring along the card you used to make your booking, if not a form photographic ID matching the booking name will suffice.
Can someone else pick up the tickets?
If the tickets are to be picked up by someone else you will need to forward on the confirmation email to them so they can present this at the Box Office. As well as this, please let the Box Office know the name of the person who will be collecting the tickets by calling us on 0207 609 1800 or 0131 556 6550 or emailing email@example.com. A note will then be added to your booking. Please note that this is not always available as it is dependent on the show as well as at the discretion of the box office staff.
Can I sit with friends who made a separate booking?
All our seating is unreserved unless otherwise stated. It is always possible to sit together even if a separate booking is made but early arrival is necessary to try to guarantee this.
What are "best available" seats?
We have no bad seat in the house and so all ticket prices are the same no matter where you sit. We do not sell seats with an obscured view.
Can I cancel my booking?
No, we have a strict no refund policy.
Can I exchange my booking?
This is not always possible and so, as a standard, we do not exchange tickets. However, in all cases do get in touch with the Box Office as soon as you can and where possible we will try to move your tickets to another day. Please note, we cannot exchange tickets across shows.
What's the address of the venue?
Our London address is: 5 Carpenters Mews, North Road, London, N7 9EF. We operate in London all year round. During the Festival Fringe we are based across 3 sites: Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh, EH8 9TJ; Pleasance Dome, Bristo Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9AL; and Pleasance at the EICC, The Exchange Edinburgh, 150 Morrison St, Edinburgh EH3 8EE.
What happens if I lose my confirmation e-mail?
Contact the Box Office and this can be resent to you. Do check your spam folders as automated emails can often be filed there.
Why do I pay a booking fee?
The Pleasance Theatre Trust charges a booking fee to cover the rather numerous charges made by credit card companies, banks and payment gateway providers that allow us to sell tickets online using credit cards and debit cards. We regret that we are unable to include this booking fee in the list price of the ticket.
Why do I pay a postage fee?
The Postage covers the cost of the stamp and nothing more.
Why do you ask for an additional donation?
The donation is completely optional. The Pleasance is a registered charity, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing a platform for new theatre companies, new artists and new ideas. Any donations are also put back into building rehearsal rooms and upgrading our theatres and existing facilities to enable emerging companies to create work both at Pleasance London and at Pleasance during the Festival Fringe.
What are the eligible Concessions?
Eligible concessions are: students, Under 18s, Senior Citizens, Students, Registered Unemployed, Disabled, Visually Impaired, Deaf or Hard of Hearing Visitors. We regret that some shows do not have concessions. Proof of concession status will need to be shown when purchasing or collecting tickets.
Are your spaces wheelchair accessible?
In London the Main House is fully wheelchair accessible however our StageSpace is situated on the second floor and so is not wheelchair accessible. We also have lift access to the foyer.
In Edinburgh all of our main venues are accessible.
If you require wheelchair access, do inform the Box Office when booking your tickets. This way we can advise you on access to the venue.

Am I entitled to a carer or assistant ticket?
If you require a carer or assistant ticket then inform our Box Office staff when booking your tickets and they will arrange this.
