"Brooke is back, funnier -- and sometimes more poignant -- than ever! She does a cross between comedy and storytelling, but with some thought-provoking content as well. Brooke for President!!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed it. A heck of a lot to take in, as it comes thick and fast. Spotting the song and movie references becomes part of the game."

HIDDEN GEM - "PLEASE do not miss Brooke's show!! She's brilliant and hilarious. It has to be seen to be believed!"

"Brooke delivers insights from her life with speed and precision. She is witty, direct and razor-sharp. The show is optimistic and uplifting."

"Super witty, fun and fast - highly recommend if you enjoy life advice mixed with theatrical advice 😊"

HIDDEN GEM - Great show, breathlessly spoke on topics from her life with word play hidden within. A high speed hour without breaks

ROFL - If you are 22, have been 22 or will be 22, then this show is for you! A torrent of good and funny ideas. I dare you to try to keep up!

HIDDEN GEM - Definitely a hidden gem. Great performance by Brooke. Tells a humorous story of situations in her life with quick witty humor that's relatable.

This show has wit plus vulnerability rolled up into one. This isn't your ordinary comedy. Brooke took us through some REAL LIFE HAPPENINGS (some wild stories, you need to hear them to believe) and draws them back to positivity, learnings, and bigger picture ideas. Some seriously sharp punchlines.

Humor in everyday moments while also landing some emotional punches..... I was a little taken aback at times! different from the usual stand-up....more personal, more surprising. Definitely worth watching!!!!

Audience

One of those “gems from a newcomer” ...
‘22’ is a wise, fast paced 50 minutes of wit, wise-cracks and personal optimistic wisdom
about the way the world and the person sharing them could yet be.

You’ve probably seen the colourful flier/poster, now see Brooke’s show. Its not the musical TayTay tribute/parody pictures may suggest ... though it does share the same strong spirit.

Instead, she joins the kind of brainy comedy posse
that also contains the supersonic told spoken word tours of Henry Rollins
and the “examine, unpack” smarts of Alice Fraser.

Words not music, but as the title says, it is absolutely “Brooke’s version” (and words).
Welcome to New York and our host’s “New-New Year('s Eve) Party”
(and yes, you should be there),
when she decides to apply the knowledge, planning and skills of day job/ corporate roles
and learned cleverness (aka education) to rethinking life.

But why just stop at her own, even when resuming the dating aps is going so “well”? (And exes keep appearing. And a close friend has to keep asking “what did you do?”) So she doesn’t. Try a manifesto and re-think about how a lot of things could be different.

For now, starting with the build-up and hang-over from “Happy New Year” – including minor little things like time, the economy, “2022” (aka the C-word which shall not be named), prejudice.... Oh, ok, fine, and getting a date. Fixing for the better the remaining parts of the world is next. Say when Feb rolls round....

Onstage likable, super smart and super fast paced,
with so many memorable one liners
and wise/funny “look at that differently”
ideas per minute
(yes, per minute – audiences, do not take a mental breath)
many comedians would be thrilled with 10 Brooke-minutes in their entire hour.

Join the fan base immediately,
so you can gloat you were there near the start of her comedy career...
"Not" to mention when #BrookeForPresident kicks off - hopefully - soon.
That’s “22” measurement soon.

...see ‘22’ the show immediately/“not to be missed”
(that’s by any measure immediately)... #brookebeingbrooke

PS: The comedian has a second show ... (‘The Brilliance of Broken Glass’), which will surely be just as memorable....

Chuck Moore Reviews

New York Performer/Comedian Brooke has landed

and she has a story to tell so make the most of that party invite and let her take you into her space time continuum,

but buckle up
and make sure there is plenty charge in the Flux Capacitor
as this is one hell of a ride on time

through a piece of Brooke’s life and dives into the Midbrain so fast your auditory and visual processing struggles to keep up.

With an abundance of energy bursting to be released from the start,

and a shiny background, Brooke takes you to New years eve, a day most people will spend reflecting on the year gone by and look forward to the year ahead. Brooke is no different and at times goes into depths only a neurosurgeon would find. She makes a clever comparison of the calamity of preparing for a new year to before, during and after sex.
She has been dumped by her boyfriend and searches for answers as she reflects on the past to try and make a better future, and she can’t find Mr right, are dating Apps an option? Add parents, employment, post pandemic blues, illness, Taylor Swift, Star Wars and an array of cuddly toys into the mix, before you know it, you have a complex character on the edge of sanity at times who analyses every strand of the thought process behind everything that has negatively came Brooke’s way.

Brooke barely takes a breath as Gen Z and Millennials are next up for analysis but which one is Brooke, well why can’t you be a bit of both especially if you have a time machine!

This Zaney, Whacky rollercoaster of a ride isn’t for the faint hearted
as you barely hang on to the strands of time.

This is an intelligent performance
but blink and you will miss it
as there is so much information packed into this show.

There are numerous movie and song quotes cleverly used throughout the performance which tie in well with the topic of discussion. I left the show with part of me saying ‘What was all that about’ but after a bit of reflection, it almost made sense.

Brooke for President? Why Not!
