Cormac wanted a funeral no one would ever forget: knock-knock jokes at the Prayers of the Faithful, a roll call of his top shags for the First Reading, and his life-size cardboard cutout of Zendaya escorted to the altar at the Offertory.

Instead, he got nine weeks to say his goodbyes as his mum made herself moist by planning his funeral.

Now trapped in Purgatory, he is taunted by the voice of his Ex as he waits for her to join him.

Inspired by Krapp’s Last Tape by Samuel Beckett, this is a new dark comedy about an existential reckoning of ego against the brutal landscape of unrequited love.

Named on The Sunday Times 'Best Theatre at the Festival'.
