On the 21st December 1988, a bomb exploded aboard Pan Am 103 over the quiet Scottish town of Lockerbie. Annie Lareau was meant to be on the flight with 35 of her Syracuse University classmates, heading home for Christmas. She was left behind.

The lives of a tight-knit group of friends intertwine with the voices of Lockerbie locals, in this electric ensemble piece - set against the ticking clock of prophetic nightmares and a terrorist plot.

Through youthful buoyancy, debilitating grief, international media scrutiny, and self-punishment, Annie’s journey is a poignant tribute to treasuring relationships in an unpredictable world.

'This stunning play, about losing a friend in the Lockerbie bombing, left me in bits.'

Entertainment Now

'The Ancient Greek echoes of this tragedy are never beyond reach...as emotionally potent as it is effervescent'

Corr Blimey

'Annie has created perhaps the most moving piece of theatre you will see in this year’s Fringe.'

The Edinburgh Reporter

'this elegy to the 1988 Lockerbie bombing is clever and human'

The List

'Moving, personal and deftly told show about the Lockerbie disaster. This show feels at once like a tribute and a release.'

The Stage

'Deeply moving...very personal story of Pan Am Flight 103 and the lives it touched, rather than the statistics of its tragedy. This is theatre at its most human – heartbreaking, necessary, and unforgettable.'
