Jamie’s best friend mysteriously died in 2004. At the time, Jamie
suppressed her emotions and ignored her suspicions because that’s what she
thought “moving on” looked like. Cut to 20 years later. There’s a writers
strike in LA. Jamie is forced to stop working and finds herself thinking
non-stop about Katy. She’s determined to find out what happened.
This is the story not of a detective, but a comedian, conducting an investigation and processing their findings in the only way they know how: by talking about them on stage. That’s right: it’s a true crime stand-up hour.
