Award-winning and critically acclaimed REWIND was one of The Guardian’s 10 best theatre shows of 2024. With rave reviews and tours across 3 continents it now returns to London for one week only.
This powerful production pieces together a scientific examination of a crime secretly buried. Inspired by testimonies from Latin American refugees and migrants across generations, and drawing from Forensic Anthropology, the first science in history to investigate human rights violations. The show collides theatre and science to uncover the intimate, backward journey into the life of Alicia — a young woman who dared to resist against authoritarianism.
In a whirlwind of electrifying live music, scorching visuals and raw physicality, Ephemeral Ensemble shines a light on the timeless and universal struggle for social justice.
