For over 40 years, Pleasance has been the beating heart of the Edinburgh Fringe – the world's largest arts festival and the third largest ticked event (after the Olympics and FIFA World Cup).
For three electrifying weeks each summer, the Scottish capital becomes a global stage: an explosion of theatre, comedy and cabaret, where legends are born and rules are broken.
We host more performances than any other venue at the month-long festival, and welcome half a million visitors across our three bustling hubs: Pleasance Courtyard, Pleasance Dome, and Pleasance EICC.
