Following its debut at The Royal Opera House in 2021 and its hit Pleasance run in 2024, GISELLE: REMIX returns to Pleasance London in July for three previews before taking Edinburgh Fringe 2025 by storm.
A radical queer reimagining of the classic ballet, reinterpreting Giselle as a hopeless romantic who comes to realise the brutal reality of queer sex and intimacy is a far cry from Hollywood’s happily-ever-after.
This timeless story of love, lust, loss, revenge and redemption is subverted as a hypnotic dance-theatre show weaving together ballet, the avant-garde and a lip-synced cabaret against the backdrop of an epic original soundscape ranging from Judy Garland to SOPHIE.

Created by Jack Sears with choreography from The Royal Ballet's Hannah Grennell and featuring a world-class ensemble of dancers.
