"Orphan Planet" – a genuine must-see experience

Planetary objects, separated from their solar systems and cast adrift into the vastness of space by gravitational forces beyond their control, are known as orphan planets.

In Danny Laine’s masterful autobiographical performance, he presents a very human tale of love and loss, but one takes us on a journey across the cosmos, weaving together the circumstances of his life with those of the scientists that created the Voyager space probes.

The multitudes of emotional storytelling on display throughout this show are truly something to behold, as Danny attempts to recover and understand messages from his past, while simultaneously explaining the process of those tasked with recording the human experience and sending it into space.

While this show at times deals with grief and incredible sadness, it is not a mournful show. Through Danny’s empathic performance, we are treated to a wonderful story that captures the enduring power of the human spirit, one that reminds us that no matter how distant and lost we find ourselves, how quiet the voices of the past may be, if you listen close enough, there is always the hope of contact.

This is a genuine must-see experience, do not miss out on the opportunity of a genuine cosmic connection.
