How growing up with a profoundly deaf brother gave Adam Hopkins a fascination with language and communication and helped him deal with the language barrier when he moved to Shanghai, China, for a job as a journalist.

Hopkins performs at London's top clubs such as Top Secret, Backyard, and The Bill Murray and opened for Kyle Kinane as part of Kinane's 2025 UK tour. He has been featured by Comedy Central and his stand-up special, Taipei, is available now on YouTube.
